Legislative Forestry Field Tour
JOIN US SEPTEMBER 25TH!
Join Senator Romaine Quinn (25th District), the Wisconsin County Forests Association and the Great Lakes Timber Professionals Association for a forestry field tour this fall to learn about forest management in Wisconsin. Visit a working forest and an active harvesting operation, explore what issues are important to Wisconsin’s forest industry and discuss why sustainable forestry is vital to Wisconsin’s economy.

SCHEDULE OF EVENT: (tentative)
- 9:30 AM – Registration (Washburn County Forestry Department / 1760 Roundhouse Road, Spooner, WI)
- 10:00 AM – Welcome
- 10:30 AM – Board bus and travel to an active logging operation.
- 11:45 – Lunch
- 12:50 PM – Board bus for tour of Wascott Wood Products.
- 3:00 PM – Arrive back in Spooner. Safe travels
